Role Overview:
The Group Executive Chef is a critical leadership role providing operational culinary support across multiple high-end restaurant concepts within our renowned hospitality group. Reporting directly to the Culinary Director, the ideal candidate will be hands-on, innovative, and deeply committed to culinary excellence, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic culinary direction and operational oversight for multiple high end restaurant brands, ensuring alignment with company standards and vision.
- Work closely with Head Chefs and kitchen teams to ensure consistent quality, efficient operations, and menu innovation.
- Regularly visit restaurant sites to evaluate culinary operations, provide training, mentorship, and troubleshoot operational challenges.
- Assist with menu development and innovation projects, adapting to seasonal trends, local market demands, and global culinary influences.
- Manage and monitor culinary budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability without compromising quality or customer experience.
- Support new brand openings and company expansion plans by being the hands on support office representative in the field.
- Develop and maintain operational standards, guidelines, and SOPs across kitchens, ensuring food safety compliance and optimal hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to source premium ingredients, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Culinary Arts qualification from a recognized institution; additional professional certifications preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in luxury or fine dining restaurant groups or premium hospitality establishments, with at least 5 years in a similar senior management role.
- Proven track record of leading multiple high-volume and quality-focused kitchens.
- Exceptional knowledge of international cuisines, innovative culinary techniques, and trends in fine dining.
- Strong leadership skills, ability to mentor, inspire and motivate diverse kitchen teams.
- Excellent financial acumen, including cost control, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Proficient in kitchen management software, Microsoft Office suite, and POS systems.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English required; additional languages a plus.
