We are partnering with a leading international business group headquartered in Dubai, with diverse operations across multiple sectors. They are now seeking an experienced and commercially focused Group Legal Manager to lead the legal function across the group and its subsidiaries. This is a strategic role that requires a dynamic legal professional who can deliver pragmatic, business-aligned legal support, while ensuring compliance with both UAE and international regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising senior management on corporate law, governance, commercial litigation, employment matters, and real estate law. The role will also involve managing legal matters related to joint ventures, subsidiaries, and commercial partnerships, while drafting and negotiating a range of contracts and agreements. A key part of this role will be developing internal legal policies, reviewing commercial deals, managing litigation and liaising with external legal authorities to support business continuity and risk mitigation.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a law degree and at least five years of experience in a similar UAE or GCC-based role, ideally within a group-level or in-house corporate environment. A Master’s degree or professional legal qualifications would be a distinct advantage. Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential, with French or Italian considered beneficial. You will possess strong legal drafting and negotiation skills, with a high level of attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders. The ability to provide commercially sound legal advice while maintaining the highest standards of governance and integrity is key.
