- Supporting the execution of day-to-day legal workstreams across IMEA
- Prepare and format legal guidance notes, template documents,
- and group instructions.
- Draft and review standard agreements (e.g. NDAs, MOUs, supplier/customer templates) under supervision.
- Manage version control, redlines, and approvals for contracts and legal documents.
- Coordinate contract execution processes, both physical and digital.
- Maintain legal document trackers and filing systems.
2. Contract & Commercial Support
- Administering legal input into business transactions and contract lifecycles
- Support with commercial contract reviews, liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Assist in compiling and organising documents for negotiation rounds and contract close-outs
3. Corporate Governance & Housekeeping
- Ensuring legal entity compliance across multiple IMEA jurisdictions
- Draft board and shareholder resolutions and maintain statutory registers.
- Prepare documentation for licensing renewals, authority filings, and regulatory submissions.
- Maintain entity trackers and flag filing and compliance deadlines.
- Helping embed group compliance frameworks across the region
- Assist in the development and formatting of compliance policies, SOPs, and checklists.
- Organise training sessions, circulate materials, monitor attendance, and record completions.
- Coordinate compliance declaration campaigns (e.g. Code of Conduct, ABC, conflicts).
- Support in the compilation of compliance reporting for group functions
5. Risk & Investigations Support
- Structuring information and documentation in support of legal and compliance risk management
- Support initial reviews of claims and gather supporting documentation.
- Assist with fact-finding and organisation of records in internal compliance investigations.
- Maintain risk registers and input into legal risk dashboards as needed.
6. Regulatory & Market Monitoring
- Supporting legal’s role as an internal business partner across jurisdictions
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments across the IMEA region.
- Prepare summaries of changes in law, government policies, or enforcement practices.
- Coordinate external counsel input on jurisdiction-specific issues
7. Legal Operations & Reporting
- Keeping the legal function organised, efficient, and aligned with group standards
- Contribute to global legal reporting (e.g. litigation status, policy deployment).
- Manage access and usage of legal tools and trackers.
- Support audit and internal control requests by collecting and submitting required legal materials.
8. Stakeholder Liaison & External Engagement
- Acting as the administrative bridge between legal, the business, and third parties
- Liaise with external counsel on document handling, instructions, and updates.
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR, Finance,
- Procurement) for approvals and legal inputs.
- Manage administrative aspects of KYC, onboarding, or third party screening processes.
- Handling procedural and documentation formalities with external authorities
- Attend and liaison with UAE government authorities, notary publics, chambers of commerce and embassies to complete legal filings, certifications, and document attestations.
- Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and submission for legalisation, notarisation, and translation of corporate/legal documents.
- Track and manage the lifecycle of documents requiring legalisation or physical submission across IMEA jurisdictions
Requirements
- Degree in law; qualified to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience as in-house counsel in an international company, preferably in manufacturing, packaging or FMCG;
- Work experience in international/regional law firm a plus
- Work experience in relevant IMEA jurisdictions
- Proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken) is required. French is an advantage but not mandatory
- Strong organisational and document management skills.
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to draft clearly and format professionally.
- High attention to detail, especially in legal formatting, version control, and cross-team coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word (contract drafting),
- Excel (trackers and data logs), Outlook (professional communication), and PowerPoint (legal training materials).
- Able to create and maintain structured compliance registers, contract logs, and templates using Excel and SharePoint.
- Comfortable working with Teams for virtual meetings, document collaboration, and task coordination across departments.
