Job Title: Gypsum Carpenter

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Gypsum Carpenters to join our fit-out team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and finishing of gypsum partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative elements for commercial, residential, and retail interior projects across the KSA or UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in interior fit-out and strong knowledge of gypsum board systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, metal framing, furring channels, and ceiling systems according to shop drawings.
- Construct and finish gypsum partitions, false ceilings, bulkheads, niches, arches, and other decorative elements.
- Ensure alignment, level, and plumb of installations.
- Perform jointing, taping, skimming, and surface preparation for painting or finishing.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with company safety policies and HSE standards.
- Repair damaged gypsum installations as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in gypsum carpentry, preferably in the UAE or KSA.
- Proven experience in fit-out projects, especially in high-end interiors.
- Knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques for gypsum and ceiling systems (e.g., Knauf, Gyproc, USG Boral).
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms.
- Understanding of site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Carpentry, Interior Works, or Civil/Architectural Technology is a plus.
- Familiarity with fire-rated and moisture-resistant gypsum systems.
- Ability to communicate in basic English or Arabic.
- Experience working in fast-track interior fit-out environments.
Working Conditions:
- Job sites across KSA/UAE – may require travel or relocation within the region.
- 6-day work week with overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
