Job Summary:
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation, curating a refined and authentic Persian menu, and driving culinary innovation while maintaining the highest standards in food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff
- Design and develop authentic, creative, and visually appealing Persian dishes
- Innovate seasonal and special menus to keep the offering fresh and relevant
- Maintain food cost, portion control, and kitchen efficiency
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on promotions, menu pricing, and food presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to uphold brand standards
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and quality at all times
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in Persian/Iranian cuisine with strong knowledge of ingredients, techniques, and traditions
- Minimum 8 years of professional kitchen experience, including leadership roles
- Ability to think creatively and execute out-of-the-box culinary ideas
- Hands-on, proactive leadership style – leads by example
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Passion for food innovation and customer satisfaction
- Experience in high-volume, fine/casual dining restaurants is preferred
