Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Head of Business Development with a strong background in Real Estate and Escrow Account Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the real estate finance and escrow services sector.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the client base and escrow portfolio.
- Build and nurture relationships with real estate developers, investors, banks, and government entities.
- Lead high-level negotiations and structure complex financial and escrow arrangements.
Escrow Account Management
- Oversee the end-to-end setup and administration of escrow accounts in compliance with UAE Central Bank and RERA regulations.
- Manage escrow-related documentation, risk controls, client onboarding, and reporting processes.
- Ensure timely reconciliation, fund flow control, and compliance reporting for all escrow accounts.
Real Estate Finance Expertise
- Lead advisory services for clients on project financing structures.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external banks to structure, assess, and manage financing for real estate projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the UAE real estate regulatory and financial landscape.
Compliance, Risk & Regulatory Liaison
- Ensure all processes meet audit, compliance, AML, KYC, and risk management standards.
- Represent the company in dealings with regulatory authorities such as the Dubai Land Department (DLD), RERA, UAE Central Bank, and others.
- Maintain a strong internal control environment and lead audit readiness efforts.
Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a business development team focused on high-impact results.
- Set and monitor KPIs, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Drive a culture of performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Escrow Management, or Real Estate Finance.
- Proven track record in managing high-value client portfolios and complex financial transactions.
- Strong knowledge of UAE real estate laws, RERA and DLD escrow regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
