Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Trainer to join our team. The Safety Trainer will be responsible for developing and conducting safety training programs to educate employees on workplace safety practices and procedures.
Duties
- Develop and implement safety training programs based on company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees at all levels
- Create training materials, presentations, and manuals
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Workers Compensation law, OSHA regulations, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards
- Experience in training development and delivery
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Occupational Health is preferred
- Familiarity with EPA regulations is a plus
