Manages patients care in allocated area ensuring good standard of care provided.
3.1 Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care and conducting medical procedures.
3.2 Assist the Physician in the preparation of patients before treatment and consultation.
3.3 Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress.
3.4 Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
3.5 Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
3.6 Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities.
3.7 Ensure cleanliness and organization of clinical areas.

3.11 Practice according to the rules and regulations established by the Department of Health (DOH) for safe medical practices
4.1 Work in all shifts as scheduled by the Head of Department.
4.2 Strictly adheres to organization’s regulations and policies especially those related to infection control, patient safety, EHSMS, DOH, JCI and ISO.
4.3 Supports Continuous Quality Improvement and participates and contributes to
all the quality assurance activities of the service.
4.4 Participates and contributes in scheduled in-service training programs.
4.5 Exercises effective interpersonal skills in dealings with department staff,
associates and Management.
4.6 Maintains confidentiality as per the agreement signed.
4.7 Demonstrates the ability to listen to others in promoting effective communication.
4.8 Develops thorough understanding of policies and procedures of the hospital and demonstrates respect for them.
4.9 Carries out other duties when requested by the Head of department.
4.10 General OSHAD Responsibilities, Authority & Accountabilities of the position includes
4.10.1 Familiarize themselves and comply with all OSHAD and Infection Control policies, standards and procedures that are relevant for their workplace Use of appropriate personal protective equipment that should be used in the department and safety systems.
4.10.2 Work in accordance with the documented environment, health and safety procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities defined in individual procedures and instructions. Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety
4.10.3 Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems and follow safe working procedures
4.10.4 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
4.10.5 Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety. Take reasonable care for the health and safety of persons and the environment that may be affected by the employee’s acts or omissions at the workplace.
4.10.6 Assist with the preparation of risk assessments
4.10.7 Attend applicable departmental safety training and follow OSHAD policies and procedures.
4.10.8 Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and the environment
4.10.9 Cooperate with their employer with respect to any action taken by the employer to comply with OSHAD requirements.
4.10.10 Notify supervisor or Department Safety facilitator of any hazards, environment, health and safety mishaps or incidents within or outside their area of work
4.10.11 Follow safe Patient handling methods
4.10.12 Complies with hand hygiene policy and safe handling of Needle stick, sharps Policy
4.10.13 Should be able to use PPEs correctly, understand safety signs, labels and
other posted information
4.10.14 Assist with Proper Identification, labeling and maintenance of all
departmental hazardous materials, MSDS availability and its current
inventory.
4.10.15 Assist with Proper collection, Storage and disposal of hazardous
materials as per NMC RKH Waste management policy
4.10.16 Proper maintenance and storage of HAZMAT Cabinet.
4.10.17 Maintains the risk register, incident report register, MSDS record and all
departmental training records
4.10.18 Understanding of departmental ADOSH Objectives and Targets
5.1 Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
5.2 Current license in country of origin and with DOH license to practice in Abu
Dhabi, UAE.
5.3 Minimum 2 years nursing experience after qualification.
5.4 BLS provider
5.5 Good English spoken & written, Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not
essential.
