Job Title: Heavy and Light Driver

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Heavy and Light Drivers to safely transport construction materials, equipment, and personnel to and from project sites across Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, knowledge of UAE roads, and experience handling both heavy machinery and light vehicles in construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, dumpers, cranes) and light vehicles (e.g., pickup trucks, vans) safely and efficiently.
- Transport construction materials, equipment, and staff between storage yards, sites, and suppliers.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or damages.
- Ensure proper loading, unloading, and secure transportation of cargo.
- Follow traffic rules, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Assist in site logistics, including moving equipment or materials as directed.
- Maintain accurate logbooks of trips, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and logistics teams to plan routes and schedules.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience in the construction industry within the UAE.
- Valid UAE heavy and light vehicle driving licenses (both are preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi roads and traffic regulations.
- Ability to operate and maintain vehicles safely under varying site conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Good communication skills to liaise with site teams.
