Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the cleaning and housekeeping operations for our portfolio of holiday homes. You will be responsible for ensuring that every apartment is cleaned to the highest standards, supervising a team of housekeepers, managing stock, and improving cleaning protocols. Your goal is to ensure our guests have the best possible experience by providing them with clean, well-prepared accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage the housekeeping team, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards.
· Supervise daily cleaning schedules, ensuring apartments are clean, stocked with necessary amenities, and ready for guest check-in.
· Improve and update housekeeping guidelines to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
· Train and supervise the housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards and procedures.
· Ensure cleaning products are always available and that necessary amenities (soap, toiletries, etc.) are provided for guests.
· Supervise stock of cleaning materials, linens, towels, and amenities, and manage inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained.
· Handle logistics with the laundry team, ensuring clean linens and towels are delivered on time.
· Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are in good working order and properly maintained.
· Work closely with the Operations Manager and Guest Experience Managers to ensure smooth coordination and guest satisfaction.
· Provide regular reports on housekeeping operations, issues, and improvements to management.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in housekeeping management in hospitality, hotels, or similar environments.
· Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
· Knowledge of cleaning standards and quality control.
· Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools like Monday.
· Experience with PMS systems like Hostaway, Guesty, and Breezeway is a plus.
· UAE Driving License is required.
· Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
· Strong organizational and time-management skills.
· Attention to detail and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and high standards.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
