Purpose of Job:
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are consistently met across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff.
- Ensure cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and other designated spaces.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; report replenishment needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and proper presentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for repairs and operational support.
- Handle guest or client complaints promptly and professionally.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping reports for management review.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housekeeping supervision in hotels, resorts, or corporate facilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high-quality standards.
Work Schedule:
- Flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Reports Directly to:
Project Manager / Area Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
