Duties and Responsibilities
As Human Resources & Recruitment Manager, I will support and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the Human Resources department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. My key role will be to support the Director of Human Resources in the preparation and implementation of the hotel´s’ human resources plan including manpower plan, benefits and payroll budget, training and induction plans in line with needs and host engagement initiatives.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Support Director of Human Resources on recruitment and host ratios, succession planning and individual development plans (IDP).
- My key role is supporting the Director of Human Resources in the preparation and implementation of the property´s human resources talent acquisition, employer branding, social media, recruitment, and hiring strategies and plans.
- I will develop creative approaches to support the Talent Acquisition Roadmap in identifying and attracting qualified, diverse, active, and passive candidates for open positions and futures opportunities.
- I will identify the right internal/external systems and tools for referral generation, internet sourcing, multi-media advertising, social media, job fairs, university fairs, networking, community involvement / partnership and third-party assistance, whilst building appropriate and meaningful relationship with University and Colleges.
I will oversee the full lifecycle recruiting of candidates including sourcing, screening, interviewing, providing feedback, recommendations, and assisting the candidate through offer negotiations and acceptance. - I will ensure outstanding candidate experiences throughout the interview, offer, and onboarding process and I will partner and build strong relationships with business and HR leadership, hiring managers to determine business staffing needs and then develop and implement cost effective recruitment plans that minimize time-to-fill, optimize fit and retention and place top-quality, diverse candidates in open positions.
- I will ensure job descriptions are up-to-date and relevant and maintain confidential host files.
- I will Network with local organization (e.g. Hotel Association and Peers) to source candidates for current or future openings.
- Maintain confidential host files
- Conduct periodic salary and benefit surveys and make recommendations to remain competitive and in line with local prevailing statutes.
- Prepare and submit legally required and confidential documentation related to the department.
- Complete accurately all corporate reporting requirements for the role.
Qualifications
To execute the position of Human Resources & Recruitment Manager, To execute the position of HR & Recruitment Manager, I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in Human Resources or Hospitality Management and more than five years’ experience in a similar human resources role.
Technical skills include Advanced MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and HRIS system. I have an excellent command of written and spoken English with some knowledge of the local language and customs.
Previous Dubai work experience in similar role
