Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with project HSE plans, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements throughout sewerage infrastructure works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, tool box talks, and safety awareness programs on-site.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities, and assist in the preparation of reports and root cause analysis.
- Maintain and update HSE records, permits, risk assessments, and safety documentation.
- Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
- Participate in emergency response drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment and systems.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- HSE certifications such as OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and sewerage/infrastructure project safety requirements.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in an HSE role within EPC or infrastructure projects, preferably with exposure to sewerage or utility pipeline works.
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessments, and incident reporting procedures.
- Experience working with subcontractors and enforcing site-level compliance.
- Proficiency in report writing, inspections, and use of HSE tools/software.
