Job Description
Summary:
The Human Resources Officer will play a crucial role in managing employee relations and delivering comprehensive HR services to foster a positive and productive work environment. This position is specifically aimed to bring valuable insights and cultural understanding to the HR team.
Employee Relations:
- Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and management, promoting a harmonious workplace.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
HR Services:
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting interviews and orientation sessions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and career advancement.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers on effective evaluation techniques.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans as necessary.
HR Administration:
- Prepare and maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Responsible for uploading, editing, and updating employees’ data in the system.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related issues.
- Manage HR-related correspondence and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports as per business requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Qualification / Certification:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and UAE labor laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to SAP is strongly preferred.
Related Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and HR services.
