Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Assessing clients’ eligibility for various immigration options
- Advising clients on the best immigration pathway based on their individual circumstances
- Helping clients to gather the necessary documentation for their immigration application
- Preparing and submitting immigration applications on behalf of clients
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and regulations
- Communicating with clients about the status of their applications
- Assisting clients in preparing for interviews with immigration officials
- Representing clients in immigration hearings, if necessary
- Providing advice on settling into a new country, such as finding accommodation, jobs, or schools
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions
