Job Title: Internal Auditor

About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Internal Auditor to join our team. This role is central to safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our business operations across two distinct domains: a contracting company and a graphic designing company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial and operational auditing, risk management, and compliance, and will be responsible for evaluating internal controls, identifying process improvements, and ensuring the effective management of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and report on internal audits for both the contracting and graphic design business units.
- Evaluate financial and operational systems for effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and assess areas of significant business risk and recommend solutions.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to ensure strong internal controls are in place.
- Review contracts, project budgets, invoices, and procurement processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct fraud risk assessments and investigate anomalies or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with department heads to implement improvements and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and practical recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of approved recommendations and verify their effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, financial regulations, and audit standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CIA, or CISA certification is a plus).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in internal auditing, preferably with exposure to contracting, construction, or design industries.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and risk management.
- Exceptional attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
