BlackStone eIT is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to enhance our technical support team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist users with troubleshooting technical problems related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring a prompt and professional service experience.
- Document and track support incidents and their resolutions in the ticketing system to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment such as PCs, printers, and mobile devices.
- Provide user training and support on various systems and applications as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues and improve support processes.
- Stay current with emerging technology trends to ensure effective support and recommendations.
- Participate in IT projects to enhance system capabilities and operations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical support or IT help desk roles.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, software applications, and operating systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in troubleshooting a variety of software and hardware issues.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
