Job Description
We are seeking a results-oriented, highly experienced professional to lead our Joinery department. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in custom woodwork, interior fit-outs, and furniture production, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles within the GCC region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire Joinery department, including production, installation, and quality control.
- Supervise teams of carpenters, foremen, supervisors, and workshop staff.
- Review technical drawings and ensure accurate execution of custom joinery works.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients to meet project specifications and timelines.
- Plan production schedules and resource allocation to optimize output and reduce delays.
- Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and material usage.
- Maintain and improve workshop processes, health & safety, and equipment efficiency.
- Monitor budgets and cost controls for joinery-related works and procurement.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in managing high-end joinery and fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of custom woodworks, veneers, finishes, furniture manufacturing, doors, wall cladding, cabinetry, and counters.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related discipline preferred.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and team coordination abilities.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, production planning software, and interior detailing is a plus.
- UAE or GCC driving license is advantageous.
