Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Joinery Draftsman to prepare detailed technical drawings for joinery and furniture projects. The role involves working closely with designers, project managers, and production teams to translate design concepts into precise shop drawings for manufacturing and installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed joinery/furniture shop drawings, cutting lists, and assembly details based on project requirements.
- Interpret architectural and interior design drawings to create accurate joinery details.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and production supervisors to resolve technical queries.
- Revise and update drawings as per client or consultant feedback.
- Prepare cutting lists and CNC-ready files when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records for each project.
- Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with site and factory teams for smooth execution of works.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil/Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman in UAE.
- Strong knowledge of joinery details, furniture construction, and interior fit-out works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of BAZIS / similar software is an advantage).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
