The Joinery Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the joinery workshop, ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality wooden products. This role includes supervising a team of joiners, coordinating production schedules, managing workflows, and ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision and Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of joiners, carpenters, and workshop assistants.
- Assign daily tasks and set production priorities based on project requirements and deadlines.
- Provide training and support for the team to improve skills, knowledge, and safety practices.
- Ensure team compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Production Planning and Coordination:
- Oversee the preparation, cutting, assembling, and finishing of joinery products, such as cabinets, doors, windows, and furniture.
- Work closely with the production manager to create and update work schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor production progress, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Mainly he should know to get the cutting from the drwaing.
