Job Summary:
The production foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the production floor. This role ensures that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while meeting production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines. The production foreman acts as a key liaison between workers and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead production staff in day-to-day operations.
- Schedule and assign work to ensure timely completion of production orders.
- Monitor production output and adjust workflows as needed to meet targets.
- Enforce company policies and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas and equipment.
- Train and mentor production employees on processes, equipment, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory, and labor.
- Coordinate with other departments (maintenance, quality control, logistics) to resolve issues.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, blueprints, or schematics.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production area for extended periods.
- May be required to lift, carry, or move items up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing environment.
Experience:
- 2-3 years experience in Fit-out Joinery work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
