Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily data entry of financial transactions related to event projects, PEO, and general accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of client invoices, vendor bills, and petty cash transactions.
- Support the accounting department with monthly closings, bank reconciliations, and report preparation.
- Input and verify supplier invoices, receipts, and expense claims related to event operations.
- Help monitor budget tracking for each event, flagging any discrepancies or overspending.
- Coordinate with project and operations teams to ensure timely and correct cost entries.
- Assist in preparing VAT filings, payroll entries, and compliance documentation as required.
- Organize digital and physical financial files for audits and internal reviews.
- Support senior accountants with financial reports and general administrative tasks.
- Perform other ad hoc tasks and administrative assistance as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or data entry; events industry experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
