Responsibilities:
- Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and properly
- Support in storing and organizing deliveries, including labeling of goods
- Participate in inventory checks and assist in full kitchen operations
- Dispose of kitchen waste appropriately and maintain waste areas
- Refill essential kitchen supplies
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Help with plating or simple food assembly during peak hours
- Provide general support to the kitchen team as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- With or without a visa may apply
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures
- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Open to working across different locations within the UAE as per operational requirements
- Fast learner with a proactive, reliable, and positive attitude
