Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dry Cleaner who has experience in professional garment cleaning, stain removal, and fabric care. The ideal candidate will know how to handle different types of fabrics, operate cleaning machines, and deliver high-quality results with attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, and press clothes according to fabric care requirements
- Identify and treat stains using appropriate cleaning solutions
- Operate dry cleaning and laundry machines safely and efficiently
- Sort garments by color, fabric, and cleaning method
- Check clothing for damage before and after cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
- Ensure garments are returned clean, pressed, and properly packaged
- Handle customer garments with care and professionalism
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dry cleaner or laundry worker
- Knowledge of different fabric types and how to clean them correctly
- Ability to operate steam press, washing machines, and dryers
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury or delicate fabrics (linen, silk, wool, etc.)
- Familiarity with stain removal techniques and spotting tools
