Job Title: Laundry Attendant / Washman
Location: Zin Laundry, International City, Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationships.
- Respond to customer inquiries via WhatsApp and phone calls.
- Manage counter orders and coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules daily.
- Counter Management.
- Manage and operate the Point of Sale system as per management's advice.
- Generate and manage receipts, ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
- Tag the clothes with printed labels for correct tracking.
- Organize invoices and maintain comprehensive accounts and cash records.
- Manage Operations
- Manage shop operations between drivers, sub-contractors, customers and other parties
- Ensure cleanliness of the counter area
- Organization the shop as per Management's advice
- Monitor inventory and supplies to maintain operational efficiency.
- Clothes Sorting and Washing
- Be responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, stain removal of all cloths and items.
- Ensure all washing, drying, and stain removal processes meet the highest quality standards.
- Oversee and coordinate with ironing staff and be responsible for maintaining high-quality output of finalized garments.
- Implement best practices for enhancing quality of service and ensuring customer happiness.
- Use consumables, detergents, and chemicals efficiently while maintaining cost control.
- Track and ensure timely delivery of cleaned garments to customers in perfect condition.
- Business Development
- Identify and pursue new contracts with hotels and other potential clients.
- Explore new areas for expansion and growth opportunities.
- Develop and suggest promotional offers and discounts to attract new customers.
Must Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong English Language skills.
- Proficient in data entry and familiar with PoS software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in the laundry or service industry is preferred but not required. Training can be provided.
