- Staff Management:Hiring, training, supervising, and scheduling laundry staff, ensuring they adhere to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Operational Management:Overseeing daily laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and ironing, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Inventory Management:Managing linen and laundry supplies, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Equipment Management:Ensuring all laundry equipment is properly maintained and functioning, coordinating repairs and replacements as necessary.
- Quality Control:Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of linens and laundry items.
- Safety and Hygiene:Enforcing safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary laundry environment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.
- Financial Management:May be involved in budgeting, cost control, and managing expenses related to the laundry operation.
- Customer Service:Addressing customer concerns, resolving issues related to guest laundry or uniform services, and maintaining positive relationships with other departments.
