Job OverviewKey Responsibilities-Strong knowledge of luxury garments and high-end brands.-Ability to analyze brand value and determine appropriate laundry care for such garments.-Skilled in assessing garment processing requirements.-Guide the team in garment assessment, stain removal, dry cleaning, and washing procedures.-Recommend and implement necessary processes based on garment evaluation.-Conduct spot checks on team performance, focusing on assessment and quality control (QC).-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.-Proficient in using communication and management tools such as WhatsApp, email, Asana, and Slack.-High attention to detail, with the ability to identify and distinguish fabric types, colors, and structures.-Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and physical stamina.
Operational SupportAssist the TF Laundry Manager in the following areas:-Cover responsibilities during the manager’s absence (weekends, vacation, meetings, etc.).-Analyze complaints and implement corrective training.-Motivate and support staff.-Plan annual leave for the team.-Develop and implement action plans to increase capacity through efficient planning of manpower, materials, and machinery.-Support career development and succession planning, with increased delegation to promote internal advancement.-Coordinate between supply chain planning and training activities.-Assist in achieving OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).-Drive cost-saving initiatives.-Attend regular meetings (Operations, Complaints, TF-CX, TF-Logistics, 1:1 with Julian and the team).-Monitor and reduce energy loss in the department.-Oversee goods stock control and usage.-Coordinate with Purchasing and Marketing teams to ensure regular stock supply and improvements in packaging (e.g., plastics, hangers).-Facilitate cross-training between CP and TF staff.-Participate in business development meetings and client visits.-Provide care and service to B2B customers and accommodate visitors as needed.-Carry out any other duties assigned by senior management.
Additional Responsibilities-Attend and contribute to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) meetings.-Implement action plans and training to support cultural change.-Ensure ISO standard processes are practiced on the ground level.
Requirements-Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury garment care, retail, or commercial laundry within the Gulf region. Prior experience as an Assistant Manager is a plus.-Age limit: Not more than 40 years.-Educational background in Textile Technology or Textile Chemistry (degree or technical diploma).-Tailoring skills are an added advantage.
