We are looking for a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of guests using our swimming facilities. The ideal candidate will have a valid lifeguard certification, quick response skills, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to all emergencies.
- Provide first aid or CPR in case of injuries or incidents.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations in a courteous and firm manner.
- Inspect pool facilities and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and equipment.
- Complete daily safety checklists and incident reports.
- Educate pool users on safety protocols when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a lifeguard (minimum 2-3 year preferred).
- Valid Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross, Ellis & Associates, or equivalent).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
Preferred:
- Multilingual abilities
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures.
