Job Summary:
The Lifeguard cum Lift Operator is responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and visitors in the pool area while also operating and monitoring the lift (elevator) systems to ensure smooth and safe vertical transportation within the premises. This dual-role position requires attentiveness, a strong sense of responsibility, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:Lifeguard Duties:
- Monitor activities in the swimming pool to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergencies, provide first aid or CPR as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pool area and facilities.
- Conduct routine checks on water quality (pH, chlorine levels) and report any issues.
- Ensure rescue equipment is available and in good working condition.
Lift Operator Duties:
- Operate the lift for residents, staff, and guests in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist passengers entering and exiting the lift, particularly the elderly, children, or disabled individuals.
- Monitor lift operations and report any malfunctions or irregularities to maintenance.
- Ensure that the lift area is clean and free of obstructions.
- Respond calmly and efficiently in case of lift emergencies or breakdowns.
