- Set up and operate waterjet cutting machines to cut marble slabs and other stones based on technical drawings.
- Load and unload marble slabs onto the waterjet table with proper material handling equipment.
- Interpret CAD files (DXF/DWG) and ensure correct execution of cutting programs.
- Perform test runs and adjustments to ensure accuracy and tolerance levels.
- Monitor cutting processes and make real-time adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished pieces for defects or deviations from specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of waterjet machinery (nozzle, pump, filters, garnet).
- Record production data, machine issues, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with the drafting/CAD team to optimize nesting and material usage.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear proper PPE while working.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or material defects.
