Key Responsibilities:
- Woodwork and Joinery:
- Craft and assemble wooden components, including cabinetry, furniture, fixtures, paneling, and decking, using traditional carpentry techniques and tools.
- Ensure high-quality finishes and precision in all woodworking tasks to meet yacht design and aesthetic standards.
- Restoration and Repair:
- Assess and repair damaged or worn wooden structures and elements on yachts, such as damaged decking, handrails, cabinetry, and other wooden features.
- Select appropriate wood materials and techniques to restore the original appearance and structural integrity.
- Material Selection and Procurement:
- Select appropriate wood materials based on yacht specifications, design requirements, and environmental considerations.
- Measurement and Blueprint Interpretation:
- Take precise measurements and interpret blueprints, sketches, and design plans to accurately fabricate wooden structures and components.
- Translate design specifications into finished products, ensuring a perfect fit and alignment.
- Finishing and Coating:
- Apply stains, varnishes, lacquers, or other finishes to wooden surfaces to enhance their appearance and protect them from environmental elements.
- Ensure a smooth and even finish, paying attention to detail and achieving the desired aesthetics.
- Safety and Compliance:

Qualifications:
