Conducted installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems on marine vessels, including engines, pumps, hydraulics, and steering systems.
Diagnosed and resolved issues with inboard/outboard engines, generators, air conditioning units, and water systems.
Performed routine servicing on diesel and petrol engines (Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Caterpillar, etc.).
Conducted sea trials and performance testing to ensure optimal functionality of onboard systems.
Worked on both fiberglass and aluminum vessels including yachts, boats, ferries, and commercial vessels.
Interpreted technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to carry out precise repairs.
Used diagnostic tools and software for system monitoring and fault detection.
Maintained logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Ensured compliance with safety regulations and marine industry standards.
Key Achievements:
Played a key role in a major engine overhaul project, improving fuel efficiency by 25%.
