Role purpose: We are seeking a go-getter and results-oriented Marketing Associate to join our vibrant team! As a Marketing Associate, you will play an integral role in supporting the execution of innovative marketing strategies, handling both administration and coordination tasks, and ensuring that our team stays ahead of trends while contributing to the company’s growth. Key accountabilities:
I. Website Management
· New product listing: Ensure the smooth upload of new products on Magento, either manually or through bulk uploads via Excel, while accurately assigning product data, titles, and collections, along with other relevant attributes.
· SEO Meta Tags: Optimize and update SEO meta tags for new and existing products to improve search engine rankings and ensure continued visibility.
II. Social Media & CRM Management
· Support the execution of the content calendar, scheduling posts and collaborating with the marketing team to plan weekly content.
· Assist in publishing, and promoting blog posts, newsletters (hubspot), and other written content as part of integrated marketing campaigns.
· Develop creative and engaging content, including short-form video reels and stories, using editing tools like Capcut.
· Track and analyze social media growth, engagement metrics, and audience interaction.
· Share insights with the marketing team to adjust strategies and optimize performance.
· Respond to customer inquiries on social media and the website, fostering positive relationships.
· Assist in executing paid media campaigns, working closely with external agencies, and ensuring all necessary materials and assets are prepared and aligned with campaign goals.
III. Event Management (Boat Shows)
· Develop comprehensive event checklists, set clear deadlines, and manage logistics related to product availability in close collaboration with the warehouse and purchasing teams.
· Ensure the timely completion of exhibitor registrations on relevant portals.
· Create engaging social media stories and provide live coverage during events to maximize engagement.
· Oversee the coordination of product shipments, ensuring timely packing, accurate documentation, and proper coordination with suppliers.
· Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers to confirm arrival times and ensure all event-related details are documented accurately.
· Ensure all required event materials (A2 cards, business cards, flyers, company swag, and stationery) are printed and prepared for distribution.
· Inspect products in the warehouse to verify that weight and dimensions are accurately recorded and match specifications.
· Ensure that catalogues and promotional materials are shipped promptly and available for distribution at the event.
· Prepare event reports detailing schedules, guidelines, and other pertinent information to ensure smooth event execution.
Secondary duties:
· Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to inform and support marketing decisions.
· Work closely with the sales team to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and provide necessary marketing materials.
· Organize and maintain marketing assets (photos, videos, logos, etc.) to ensure easy and quick access for the team.
· Assist in monitoring marketing campaign expenses, updating marketing databases, and preparing performance reports.
· Support cross-team collaboration and assist in preparing internal reports and presentations to ensure alignment across departments.
· Develop creative concepts for brand pages in specific categories, ensuring they are engaging and align with catalogue objectives.
· Manage and update category indexing for improved navigation, ensuring the catalog remains comprehensive, well-organized, and user-friendly.
· Regularly remove discontinued or out-of-stock products to ensure the catalog remains current and accurate.
· Keep product pages up-to-date by updating images, manuals, datasheets, and other related documentation.
