Job Summary
The Mechanic (Car & Bike) will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on motorcycles and cars which includes cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts ensuring there is no delay or interruption for the operations and management of Tawseel’s delivery fleet in Sharjah. This role ensures vehicles are operating efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while maintaining high service standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on bikes and cars including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts
- Monitor vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and GPS tracking to ensure efficient usage and timely deliveries
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed and oversee repairs through approved workshops
- Maintain compliance with UAE transport regulations and road safety standards
- Implement systems and processes to enhance fleet efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Repairing or replacing broken or worn-out components, such as brakes, gears, tires, and chains
- Identifying issues with a bike's and car's performance and recommending suitable fixes
- Maintaining accurate records of all work done on bikes and cars
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies involving fleet vehicles.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience as Mechanic (Car & Bike)
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, knowledge regarding components, repair processes, and safety standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
