Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to lead diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, detail-oriented, and capable of guiding junior mechanics while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics using tools and scanners to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts in engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension, and other vehicle systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, brake servicing, and inspections.
- Ensure all repairs and services are done according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure performance.
- Supervise and support junior mechanics and technicians in their daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Complete job cards and reports accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and workshop managers regarding job progress and any additional work needed.
- Stay updated on latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with at least 3+ years in the field.
- Certification or diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, service manuals, and OEM standards.
- Ability to work independently and as a team leader.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with multiple car brands ( European, etc.)
- Knowledge of hybrid or electric vehicle systems (a plus)
