Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Inspector with a strong consultancy background to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical works on high-rise projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect mechanical installations and verify compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Monitor contractors’ work for quality assurance, safety, and adherence to project timelines.
- Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with local authority requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Inspector in high-rise building projects.
- Prior experience working with a consultancy firm is mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and building mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with local codes, standards, and authority regulations.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
