Job Summary:
Rosmetic Medical Center is seeking an organized, professional, and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of our medical center. This role requires fluency in English, strong computer skills, and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and booking systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner; assist with inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered at the clinic.
- Appointment Management: Schedule and confirm patient appointments using the booking system; manage calendars efficiently to optimize scheduling for medical practitioners.
- Patient Records Management: Accurately input and update patient information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system; ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, replying to emails, and handling correspondence; maintain organized filing systems for patient documents.
- Billing and Insurance: Assist with patient billing and insurance verification processes; process payments and manage transactions in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Communication: Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow; escalate any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols within the clinic; maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using EMR systems and booking software; strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
