Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced MEP Purchase Officer to handle procurement activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing materials for our ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate must have 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the construction sector, with strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source qualified suppliers and vendors for MEP materials and equipment.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with project budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering and site teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Maintain and update procurement records and supplier databases.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and contractual requirements.
- Follow up on delivery, invoices, and payments with accounts and logistics teams.
- Monitor market trends and alternative materials or sources for cost optimization.
- Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement for MEP and construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP materials, specifications, and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement/ERP systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of local and international suppliers in the MEP field is a plus.
- Strong ethical and professional standards.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, PMP) is an added advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
