ob Title: Operations Manager - Supermarket (Labor Area)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our supermarket team in the labor area. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in supermarket or hypermarket management. Additional experience in industrial areas will be considered a significant advantage. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of the supermarket. Need a person capable to make the decision and bring changes to the organization by implementing correct SOP for all the day to day task.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Manage and optimize daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Staff Management:
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and implementing improvement plans as necessary.
- Inventory Control:
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering, restocking, and minimizing wastage.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Customer Service:
- Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring high service standards are maintained.
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly, seeking resolutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management:
- Collaborate with the finance department to monitor and manage the supermarket's budget.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize operational expenses.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect both employees and assets.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate and analyze reports related to sales, inventory, and operational performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in supermarket or hypermarket management.
- Previous experience in industrial areas is a significant plus.
- Proven track record of successful staff management and operational improvement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
