Job Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Outboard Boat Engine Manager to lead our marine engine division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales, service, and strategic growth of outboard engine products across the GCC region. This role demands a strong background in marine engines, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Market Expansion
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase the market share of outboard engines.
- Build and maintain relationships with boat builders, dealers, marine service companies, and government authorities.
- Technical Expertise & Customer Support
- Provide expert advice on engine selection, performance, and installation.
- Handle customer queries and ensure product suitability based on marine applications.
- After-Sales Service & Support
- Set up and supervise service centers for maintenance, repair, and warranty claims.
- Ensure spare parts availability and coordinate with manufacturers for technical issues.
- Dealer Network Development
- Appoint and manage authorized dealers/distributors across the region.
- Conduct training programs and technical workshops for dealers and service teams.
- Coordination with Manufacturers
- Liaise with global engine manufacturers for supply planning, pricing, technical updates, and warranty management.
- Stay updated on new technologies and product developments.
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure engines comply with regional marine and environmental regulations.
- Manage import documentation, registration, and certification processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in marine/outboard engine sales and service.
- Strong understanding of engine performance, fuel systems, and electrical components.
- Proven experience in managing teams and dealer networks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- GCC market experience is highly preferred.
