About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Outlet Manager to join Fika in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, providing guidance, encouraging teamwork, and ensuring smooth flow of operations.
- Develop and present the annual business plan, revenue targets, and expense budgets for review with the Director of F&B.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, respond to feedback and complaints, and ensure positive image preservation.
- Monitor progress against the business plan, forecast, and initiate corrective actions to achieve financial and business targets.
- Maintain high service standards, food quality, and presentation to meet guest expectations.
- Develop and implement marketing, advertising, and public relations programs to attract patrons.
- Monitor reports, customer feedback, competitor activities, and industry trends to ensure successful restaurant concepts and services.
- Stay updated with industry trends through workshops, publications, and networking to maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage effective purchasing, stock control, and food cost control, selecting high-quality products while minimizing waste and loss.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment management procedures to provide world-class hospitality service.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business or any relevant field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in luxury hospitality or related industries: 3 years of which in managerial positions.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English
- Computer literacy competency, such as, Micros, Tahweel, Opera and MS Office applications
