Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of high-quality baked goods, desserts, and pastries, ensuring consistency, presentation, and flavor. The Pastry Chef will collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, bread, and other baked goods.
Develop and test new recipes to keep the menu innovative and appealing.
Ensure all baked items meet quality standards in flavor, presentation, and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create cohesive menus.
Train and mentor junior pastry staff if applicable.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely delivery of desserts and baked goods.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or pastry cook, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, or bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry arts, and presentation.
Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods.
Manual dexterity for handling delicate pastries and baked goods.
Ability to lift heavy bags of flour, sugar, and other ingredients.

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month
