Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizzaiolo to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience crafting high-quality, authentic pizzas and a strong understanding of proper dough preparation, topping combinations, and baking techniques. As a Pizzaiolo, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our standards for flavor, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to recipes and customer preferences
- Make and stretch dough, prepare toppings, and assemble pizzas
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
- Ensure that all food products meet quality and presentation standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo or similar role in a pizzeria or restaurant
- Knowledge of pizza dough preparation and baking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and traditional pizza styles
- Food safety certification
