Project Manager QA/QC ( Infrastructure)
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager QA/QC to join our team! This role involves executing complex quality activities to ensure products or services meet customer and Parsons' quality standards. The position requires coordination with cross-functional teams, implementation of ISO 9001-based systems, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
Collaborate on development and maintenance of Quality Policies and Procedures
Data collection and reporting
Lead ISO 9000 improvement and reengineering initiatives
Quality System training
Review and approve quality manuals and procedures, technical deliverables, test plans, purchase orders and subcontracts
Plan, schedule, and conduct internal quality audits across various sites and functions
Ensure audits cover key areas: Design, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, etc.
Document audit findings and ensure follow-up on corrective actions
Facilitate internal and external audits; report results to management
Analyze audit data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Participate in pre-bid, bid, and contract planning phases
Ensure project deliverables meet Parsons and client quality standards
Conduct quality reviews of design documentation and vendor quality records
Verify compliance of purchased items and services with defined quality criteria
Promote safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols
Participate in safety audits and assessments as needed
Liaise with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Provide technical guidance to junior quality staff
Perform statistical process control and trend analysis
Monitor and report on project quality performance using internal and external data
Support supplier qualification audits and ensure compliance with quality requirements
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Degree in Engineering, Business, Quality discipline, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
12 years of relevant experience in Quality, at least 6-8 in the Gulf
Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equivalent) or ASQ certification such as CMQ/OE, CQA, or CQE
Working knowledge of one or more industries such as infrastructure, government, aviation, process, or transportation
Demonstrated leadership potential and thorough knowledge of Quality Management practices, processes, and current technologies
Experience with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9000, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, and similar organizations
Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations to management and effectively collaborate with professionals across departments
Proficiency in business analysis concepts, including ROI and cost per unit assessments
Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling tactful and effective cross-departmental collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and risk assessment abilities
Comfortable with public speaking and making presentations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) and essential project planning skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Solid working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems
