The key objectives for this role are:
- Commissioning Manager will have full responsibility to direct and execute commissioning activities and execution plan for a large-scale offshore oil and gas production unit, and for implementing Wood’s Safety Policies and Procedures throughout the commissioning phases of the project
Aid in evaluation and selection of Commissioning Team staff members. Declare and assign roles and responsibilities for Commissioning team members.
Need proficiency in MS Office Applications e.g., Word, Excel, Access, Power Point.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee must be able to see and read reports.
Employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hand and fingers, and reach with hands and arms.
Employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Employee must be able to hear well enough to communicate with co-workers. Field Employees must be able to pass an audiometric test.
Employee must be able to safely traverse stairs.
Employee must be able to pass a medical “Fit for Duty” physical and drug screen.
If assigned Offshore, employee must be able to pass HUET/METS.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The noise level in this environment is usually moderate, occasionally loud (86+ decibels). Employee must determine when hearing protection is necessary.

Authority II To act but to inform whom he reports to and other interested parties.
Authority III To consult with whom he reports to with further detailed planning prior to proceeding.

Present clear and concise communications (e.g. e-mails, reports, presentations) to onshore team(s), service partners and internal customers so you will understand what people need from you, and so people understand what you need from them. Understand when to communicate verbally or in writing (or both together) to ensure expectations are clearly communicated. Use a range of communication styles to be impactful.

Education and Experience:
Degree in Engineering or relevant experience Oil and Gas production. Equivalent industry certifications and experience will be considered.
Experience:
10-15 Years Onshore/Offshore Construction, Commissioning, Start-Up and Operations experience, particularly Commissioning and Start-up experience of large capital projects, multi-discipline facilities.
