Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager/ Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement operations for construction projects, including sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining budget compliance. The role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of construction materials, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:1. Procurement Strategy
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Forecast material and service needs based on construction plans and schedules.
2. Supplier Management
- Source, evaluate, and prequalify vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
3. Contract and Risk Management
- Draft and manage purchase orders, subcontracts, and procurement agreements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
4. Inventory and Logistics
- Coordinate deliveries with warehouse and site logistics teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Track stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
5. Spending and Budgeting
- Monitor procurement spending to ensure alignment with project budgets.
- Propose and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
6. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier databases, and contracts.
- Prepare procurement status reports, cost analyses, and KPIs for management.
7. Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with estimation, engineering, project management, and site teams.
- Supervise and mentor procurement team members (if applicable).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, procurement processes, and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
