Pure water is currently seeking a Construction Manager(Civil) to support on a construction supervision project involving water infrastructure, sewers, water pipelines and water reservoirs.
Responsibilities:
- Be based full-time at site.
- General superintend the day-to-day site activities.
- Identify resource and plant level requirements.
- Coordinate forward planning.
- Generally, review, monitor and report on progress.
- Liaise with Client and the ENGINEER.
- Attend regular meetings with the Client and the ENGINEER.
- Arrange co-ordination meetings as required.
- Be fully aware of CONTRACT requirements.
- Ensure site staffs execute the CONTRACT as required by the Client and in accordance with the Specification.
- Ensure timely submissions for approval as required by the Contract.
- Ensure all procedures as required by the CONTRACT are followed.
- Observe procedures as required by the CONTRACT and develop further procedures with the Client/ the ENGINEER.
- Execution and supervision of all construction activities as per the construction methodology.
- Allocate responsibility and manage all site engineers.
- Carry out Site weekly/monthly work progress meetings.
- Ensure resource and plant levels are adequately provided.
- Generally, monitor and ensure adequate progress.
- Ensure that Health, Safety and Environment Policy is adequately provided for and observed.
- Ensure site staffs are provided with everything necessary to execute the CONTRACT as required by the Client and in accordance with the Specification.
- Supervises and monitors project progress through site engineers from project initiation and close out and to ensure mile stones achieved are per contractual obligation and clients/ consultant satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience in building construction, water infrastructure, sewers, water pipelines, wastewater treatment plants, and water reservoirs.
- 12 years proven working experience as a project manager in the field of Sewer pipelines Microtunneling and Wastewater treatment.
- The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail.
- Experience in projects with government entities.
- The ability to manage a heavy workload, with a close attention to detail.
- Strong team working capabilities. Committed to working with all levels of management on a daily and ongoing basis.
- A proactive approach, working effectively in coordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all matters.
- Proficiency in English.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- UAE experience is must.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
