Job Title: Project Manager - Joinery
Employment Type: Full-Time | Site & Office Based I Joinery Projects Only
Objective:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager with hands-on expertise in managing high-end bespoke joinery projects from concept through to handover. With a minimum of 10 years in the joinery manufacturing industry, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple fast-track projects while balancing design coordination, production schedules, quality standards, and commercial targets.
This role is critical in delivering joinery works that align with client vision, architectural detailing, and factory capabilities-especially within luxury residential, commercial, and 5-star hospitality developments.
Qualifications:
· Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
· Minimum 10 years of experience in project management within the joinery manufacturing industry.
· Demonstrated success in managing complex, fast-paced joinery projects for high-end clients.
· Deep understanding of custom joinery detailing, production methods, and installation sequencing.
. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent for planning and reporting.
. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to handle internal teams and external stakeholders.
· Exposure to LEED-compliant projects is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
· Develop project execution strategies, aligning client expectations with production and installation capabilities.
· Lead early-phase design coordination to ensure feasibility, budget adherence, and compliance with specifications.
· Prepare comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and deliverable milestones.
Execution Management
. Oversee the project life cycle from technical design approvals, material procurement, factory production, to on-site execution and final handover.
· Ensure all activities comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and approved timelines.
· Coordinate closely with technical, production, procurement, and installation teams for seamless delivery.
Financial Oversight
· Manage project budgets and cost control, coordinating with estimation and commercial departments for variation approvals.
· Track expenditures and ensure profitability while maintaining client satisfaction and workmanship quality.
Quality & Client Interface
· Supervise factory output and on-site execution to ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
. Act as a primary liaison with clients, consultants, and site stakeholders, handling approvals, mock-ups, and change requests professionally.
· Manage project documentation and support smooth project handover, including snag list closures and warranties.
Leadership & Reporting
. Lead and mentor project teams including site engineers, foremen, and installation supervisors.
· Drive accountability through regular reviews, status meetings, and team briefings.
· Submit detailed progress reports and risk assessments to the COO and other senior leadership.
