Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Sharjah for a Purchasing Assistant. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the procurement team with ordering, tracking and distributing medicines, and supplies. The role will involve coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods in compliance with established procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with purchasing, inventory management, or supply chain management is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Fluency in English. Knowledge of Arabic language is an asset.
