Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all procurement activities, from sourcing suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and evaluate reliable local and international suppliers
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure optimal procurement outcomes
· Issue and track purchase orders while maintaining accurate records
· Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse to avoid shortages or overstocking
· Ensure timely delivery and resolve issues related to delays or discrepancies
· Analyze market trends and pricing to support cost-saving initiatives
· Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal departments
· Prepare procurement reports and support budgeting processes
· Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures
Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in any field
o Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing role within the UAE
o Strong negotiation and communication skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); ERP system knowledge is an advantage
o High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
o Ability to work independently
